Toddler Room #1 News
Spring is hopefully on its way. However please ensure your child still has winter clothes to wear outside on the cold days. We are outside for quite some time, and we would like your children to be warm.
We have been talking about ocean life for the last month. The children were very interested in what lives in the sea. We looked at maps, played in the water table with the ocean animals and even ‘rescued’ the animals. Using their fine motor skills, the toddlers needed to pick at the tape that held the animal on the table.
The toddlers have been showing us the new skills they have learned; from social interactions, to fine motor and gross motor skills. The language we are hearing is incredible!
We participated in Hats on for Health Care last month and for a donation the children were able to wear a hat for the day. We were able to raise $230.00 to support Windsor Regional Hospital’s Mental Health program.
Reminder we will be closed on April 15th for Good Friday and April 18th for Easter Monday. Have a wonderful holiday!
Toddler Room #2 News
April is here! We are so happy to see Spring! We enjoyed some beautiful weather in March. The toddlers loved the days we did not have to wear snow pants.
This past week we talked about zoo animals. The children enjoyed talking about what animal’s live at the zoo and the sounds they make. Nursery rhymes, Spring and insects are just some of the things we will be talking about in April.
A big welcome to our new friends. We look forward to all the fun of getting to know them.
