Happy New Year! We hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday.
With the New Year, came very cold weather. We are keeping warm inside with activities such as bubbles, the slide, tents and tunnels.
The children are very interested in all the snow outside, we are using this interest to discuss winter activities such as snowmen, winter clothing, sledding, skating, etc.
We are excited to bring the snow inside and explore it in our sensory bin. We are going to experiment by adding paint, toys and water to it.
We would also like to welcome Miss Cassidy to our room from St. Clair College. She will be with us for three weeks; helping, playing and learning with us.
Thank you to our families who were able to donate to our Salvation Army Drive. Staff also donated $425.00 in PC cards towards the drive. These funds were raised by staff who paid to wear jeans on Friday’s and was also supplemented by our PC points at No Frills. Thanks for helping us make someone else’s Christmas merry!
