The month of July proved to be a busy action packed month full of special dress up days, exciting outings, and indoor/outdoor fun & games. But our fun has just gotten started as we have another entire month of theme days, special  treats & lunches, celebrations, and dance parties planned! Please check your child’s file, in our classroom file box, for the new calendar of events.

Here’s just a taste of some of our exciting days . . .

August 2nd: National Colouring Book Day

August 15th: National  Relaxation Day

August 19th: International Orangutans Day

August 27th: World Rock Paper Scissors Day

Our kindergarten crew will get “Down with the Dinosaurs,” becoming paleontologists as they extract and study dinosaur bones. They’ll explore the wild outdoors, and the creatures that live there, during our “Rumble in the Jungle” Week.

“Commotion in the Ocean” will have our curious crew diving deep into the water to connect with some very mysterious creatures. We’ll wrap up the summer with our Kindergarten Graduation, and End-of-the-Summer Party.

Along the way, we’ll also welcome the fire department back for another water day, enjoy some picnic lunches, peruse a local park/playground, and make our own sub lunches!

Please note, that we will be closed on Monday, August 5th, for the Civic Holiday. We hope that you enjoy the long weekend!
