Infant Room #1
And just like that… summer is coming to an end! We have loved watching the babies grow and will miss all the little ones that are moving up to the toddler room. We would also like to welcome our new families to Infant #1! We can’t wait to get to know all of you.
The babies have loved participating in art and have been enjoying sensory activities such as ice play and hand painting. We are looking forward to the upcoming months and incorporating Fall in our learning. Please make sure to bring a sweater or light jacket for the changes in weather!
Infant Room #2
It’s hard to believe summer is coming to an end already. We’ve enjoyed a wonderful summer with your babies. Sensory activities, books, circle times, and playing outside have filled our days. It’s a joy to watch and encourage your babies to master all the developmental skills that happen at this age.
Lately, we have noticed an interest in throwing and rolling. This will lead us to providing the babies with balls of different sizes and textures to explore. The teachers will also be encouraging rolling balls back and forth to enhance hand-eye coordination. During these activities we will be using words such as ball, roll, and catch to help expand their vocabulary.
We are looking forward to all the fall colours starting and are excited for the changes the fall season brings outside. With the cooler weather approaching, we remind you to bring appropriate clothing. A light jacket or sweater will sometimes be needed, especially for our early morning outings.
