Infant Room #1

All of our new babies are settling in nicely. Our “Family Tree” has been a popular topic with the babies. They all enjoy looking at their family photos and pointing at/naming each family member. Having these photos in our classroom has provided the babies with a sense of comfort and familiarity while at daycare. We will continue to talk about families this month. If you haven’t sent a photo yet, please do so.

During the month of October, we will also move towards talking about all things fall. Creating fall and Halloween artwork and singing Halloween songs will be some of our main focuses.

With the weather getting cooler, please ensure your little ones have weather-appropriate spare clothes and that they have a sweater or jacket.

Please dress your babies in black and orange on Thursday, October 31st to celebrate Halloween.

We would like to invite everyone our Open House that will take place on Monday October 28th from 6:00 -7:00 pm. Please join us for a Halloween themed evening where the children are able to trick or treat from classroom to classroom. Costumes are encouraged but not required.

Just a reminder that Story Book will be closed on Monday, October 14th for Thanksgiving. Enjoy!

Infant Room #2

Well, we’ve officially made it through our first month! We want to thank all our lovely families for being patient and understanding with us as we adjusted and settled into our new room.

This past month was spent getting to know your little ones. We enjoyed a lot of time outdoors, whether that be on stroller walks or out in the play yard. We are also working to make lots of artwork in order to decorate our room and hoping to make an “Infant Two Gallery” to display their masterpieces. For those who haven’t sent a family photo yet, we would love if you could as the babies love to look at your pictures throughout the day.
