Infant Room #1
We have been talking about Easter with the babies. Reading stories, looking at pictures of bunnies, eggs, Easter baskets, and talking about Spring! With the warmer weather approaching please keep in mind that we do go outside in the early morning, and it may still be cool. Please label all your Spring clothing, as it helps so things do not go misplaced.
Reminder: we will be closed on Friday April 7th for Good Friday and Monday April 10th for Easter Monday. We wish everyone a safe and Happy Holiday.
It is amazing the progress that the babies have made since January. They are on the move exploring our room and outdoors. The babies that walk well independently are taken outside to explore our yard and to develop new gross motor skills. The younger babies go out for walks in the buggy while we talk about things we may see on our walks. We are hoping the warmer weather will give us new opportunities to talk about the trees, the birds, squirrels, and nature, as well as the sounds and smells of Spring.
Last month we participated in “Hats on for Healthcare” and raised money for Windsor Regional’s Paediatrics Program and NICU. Thank you to everyone who donated.
Infant Room #2
We would like to wish all of our Infant 2 families a very happy Easter! We are looking forward to the change of seasons and enjoying some nice Spring weather.
As the weather has been getting nicer, we have been enjoying going on walks around the neighbourhood in the stroller! The babies have been noticing the birds, squirrels, and other animals while out on our walks. Our older infants are loving outside time in the yard where they are able to explore our playhouse and outdoor toys. We would also like to thank everyone for sending in photos of your pets, the babies love being able to see their furry (and scaly) friends on the classroom wall during the day!
