“ If you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams, and you will always look lovely.” ~Roald Dahl
Hello March! Here in school-age we couldn’t be more excited as we inch our way closer to Spring. This month our focus is on positive thinking. Positive thinking is so important as it can broaden one’s sense of possibility and open their mind. This mindset also helps children to become more resilient. Currently our children need resilience for our ever changing world which is full of uncertainty.
To foster positive thinking, we are eager to provide opportunities for our school age friends to freely express themselves through a variety of drama and writing activities. In addition, we would love to have more open discussions about positive events and stories that each of us experience to help surround each other with positivity. In the following weeks we will be introducing “awe moments” to our class; we will encourage the children to record sights or moments from their daily lives that they find beautiful or extraordinary.
Reminder: March Break is the week of March 14th-18th, please let us know if there are any changes to your child’s schedule for this week.
Also St. Patrick’s Day is on Thursday, March 17th so remember to wear green to celebrate!
