Infant Room

We hope everyone had a wonderful Family Day with their loved ones. We spent a lot of time in February, reading books and singing songs about love and loving our family.
We have observed our infants rocking, cuddling, and even “feeding” the baby dolls bottles. Through modeling, the skills encouraged are social-emotional, pretend play and motor skills, along with language. It also teaches comforting and one-on-one interaction.
The babies have also experienced finger painting over the past month. They enjoy the feeling of it on their hands and love to swirl their hands around on the paper. It is a great sensory experience for them.
