Wake up flowers, wake up bears
Wake up weeds, wake up bees,
Wake up frogs, wake up Spring,
Wake up seeds, won’t you please!
We are eagerly waiting for Spring! We can’t wait to get outside and run! Recently, we have brought our classroom to life with winter activities. The children were able to shovel pretend snow and have the occasional snowball fight. There were snowmen to decorate and a hot chocolate stand to grab a warm drink with their friends. They all absolutely loved adding the whip cream and peppermint to the hot chocolate. When they weren’t drinking hot chocolate with their friends, they were busy ice fishing and skating. It was a preschool winter festival!
As much as we enjoyed these activities we have moved on to a new interest, “Superheroes!” The children love to pretend they are “batman,” “cat boy” and “PJ Masks.’ We are looking forward to extending this interest in the new few weeks.
