“A snowflake is a fragile creation alone but look what they can do when they stick together!” ~Unknown
Hello winter! We plan on enjoying the great outdoors. We hope to share in the beauty of winter with our students, so Jack Frost please bring on the snow! We are eager to be creative and play in new exciting ways. While we wait for the white stuff, we will work on the science behind how snowflakes are made. We will also investigate new year traditions and goals that are celebrated within our families and those that other nationalities rejoice in.
School Age #2
Welcome back and Happy New Year! We hope everyone had a wonderful and safe holiday.
In January, we will be continuing with our interest with Diary of a Wimpy Kid books. The children really enjoy listening to the many adventures and seeing what happens to Rowley and Greg. We are also going to be completing some activities related to the Wimpy kid novels.
We will incorporate some winter related crafts but we will continue with creating cartoon like photos because the children are still very interested in this.
We will also be talking about new resolutions we may have for the new year and how we will be able to complete them.
Just a reminder that Friday January 18th is a P.D day for both boards. Please let the staff know if you require care for your child(ren) that day.
